Personal Curriculum--Life Long Learners Club

Are you a curious person? Would you like some accountability? Wish you had someone to talk to about what you're learning?
Making a personal curriculum is a trend on social media. We're going to turn it into a club!
You decide WHAT you want to learn, HOW you want to learn it, and what the GOAL is.
Personal Curriculum meets the 4th Thursday of the Month 5:30 PM-7:00 PM
We'll check in on our goals, chat about what we're learning, and share our milestones. Join us anytime along the way.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Marcellus Elementary School

There will be thousands of eggs to be found! All ages are welcome to join in on the fun!
(Preschool area of the playground is reserved for ages 0-5)

Craft Buffet

Create artwork from spare art parts!
Join us for a creative event where you can make anything you want using random art supplies! Examples will be available if you need inspiration--just show up, create, and have some fun!
Aimed for ages 8+. Guardians are responsible for supervising their children during the event.
Children's Percussion Workshop
Tuesday, March 31, 12 PM
Join musician Joe Watts of Electric Moon to have a dynamic, hands-on and fun musical experience learning basic rhythm!
Older children and teens: hang out after for individualized training with Joe after the workshop for hands-on coaching with the instruments.

Spring Board Game Night
April 1st 4:30 PM-7:00 PM
Pop in to learn a new game or play a favorite. Choose from all skill levels from kid friendly to teens and adults.
Jeremy–a local board game enthusiast–will be on hand to teach rules to new-to-you games.
If bringing young children, please plan on playing games with your child.

Donnie Brooks is a pastor at Marcellus UMC & Ninth St. UMC along with being an Adjunct Professor at Gogebic Community College in Philosophy.
He is a great appreciator of early 20th century American literature!

The Zekelman Holocaust Center presents: The Next Generation Speaker, Virtual Series
Thursday, April 16th, 5PM
This monthly series is a virtual opportunity for us to hear from a child or grandchild of a Holocaust survivor. In their talks, these incredible Next Generation Speakers share stories of their family during the Holocaust and what it was like to grow up with a loved one who has gone through that experience.
Join us at the library to listen to these experiences. We will have the talk playing on the library television. Stop by to listen to this powerful presentation.
Craft and Chat

Join us for relaxed and friendly crafting sessions with fellow community members!
Bring your own project—knitting, drawing, scrapbooking, or anything you enjoy—and take part in great conversation!

Build and create with our collection of Magna-Tiles and magnetic blocks. All ages are welcome, but guardians are responsible for supervising small children to prevent choking risks.
